Medal enables millions of gamers to capture and share their epic gaming moments and create memories together. Medal users create 3M+ videos per day across over a million daily active users on our desktop and mobile applications.
The operations manager will have the opportunity to lay the groundwork for the team that underlies Medal, involved in hiring, culture, team structure and compensation, and finance. Medal is a high growth start-up, and needs to promote an ambitious, creative, and growth-oriented culture.
What you'll be doing:
- Hiring – both via outreach and pipeline management, this role will be in charge of understanding who we need to hire, finding candidates, and conducting first round interviews to qualify candidates for the leadership team
- Compensation and leveling – after learning the company's cultural goals, this role will support in evolving our leveling system, and aligning compensation.
- Corporate structuring – working alongside the COO on legal matters, managing lawyers to navigate compliance and tax risk, and structuring the company to better incentivize the team and raise capital.
- Office management – this role will require upkeep of the office space, in addition to navigating location changes as the team grows
- Sales and partnerships – as needed, this role may require work on partnerships in projects like GTA/Roblox/Minecraft server discovery, finding developer partnerships for our new AI product, and more
