We're building the AI-native ERP that will define private markets infrastructure. This isn't an AI wrapper slapped onto legacy software - we built a proprietary general ledger accounting system from the ground up, designed specifically for complex investment firms. As the system of record, we've earned the trust to bundle fund administration with tools that were previously fragmented: investor portals, AI-powered portfolio management, KPI collection, and more.
With AI, context is king. And Hanover Park has all the context on our customers.
In under a year, we've scaled to over $15 billion in assets under administration, serving investment firms and LPs that include top-5 banks and major endowments. We're backed by Emergence Capital (first investor in Salesforce and Zoom), Susa Ventures (first investor in Robinhood and Flexport), and Lux Capital.
Stripe for payments. Ramp for expenses. Hanover Park for investments.
About the roleOur #1 objective is for Hanover Park customers to be raving fans. From the moment they sign a contract to the launch of their firm, we want that experience to be filled with magical moments.
You will own migration and implementation for the most complex investment firms in the world - moving them from legacy, disconnected systems onto Hanover Park's system of record. This isn't back-office work. You'll be on the front line of some of the most consequential client relationships in private markets, with real ownership from day one.
At Hanover Park, "services is sales." This role directly drives retention and expansion on our path to becoming a billion-dollar company.
What you'll work onOwn client migration and implementation end-to-end — from signed contract through successful launch
Build and continuously improve core operational processes and playbooks
Collaborate with fund accountants and world-class engineers to ensure operational precision and exceptional service delivery
Execute detailed quality control and reconciliation across historical customer financial reporting periods
Troubleshoot issues, identify patterns, and provide data-driven recommendations for operational improvements
Participate in customer onboarding, success, and account management, ensuring best-in-class service
Surface process improvements proactively and work with engineering to build them into the product
Must-haves
Exceptional organizational and project management skills - you can track many moving pieces simultaneously without dropping the ball
Strong written and verbal communication - you represent Hanover Park directly with institutional clients, fund CFOs, and COOs
Bias toward action - you don't wait for permission or a perfect playbook to solve a problem
1–7 years in fund accounting, fund administration, or investment operations, ideally supporting private equity, venture capital, private credit, or other alternative investment vehicles
Deep understanding of fund structures, capital calls and distributions, NAV calculations, and financial reporting across periods
Nice-to-haves
Prior experience in PE/VC operations, fund administration, or fintech
CPA preferred but not required — candidates with strong practical fund accounting experience are equally valued
Exposure to client onboarding or data migration workflows
This is not the role for you if:
You treat ops as purely internal or administrative work
You escalate before attempting to solve
You need rigid, established process to function — we're still building the playbook
You won't be doing meaningless ops work. You'll be solving one of the biggest problems at Hanover Park - delivering a client experience so good it becomes our strongest growth lever. You'll work closely with leadership on client escalations and strategic decisions, with direct exposure to Chris (CEO) and the founding team. The role is broad by design. Some days are strategic; some days are firefighting. Client expectations are high and timelines are tight. If that energizes you, we should talk.
You'll personally onboard the funds that determine whether Hanover Park becomes the AI-native system of record for private markets. Our first 100 customers shape the next 1,000.
