Your role will focus on leading regional data harmonization, governance, cleansing and migration tasks to ensure a smooth transition to the new system, ensuring collaboration between Global and Local Business.
*** The role is 100% remote but ideal candidate will be located near our East Hanover, New Jersey office and able to be on-site when needed.
Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of regional subject matter experts (SME) responsible for various data domains.
  • Responsible for appropriate staffing of Regional Data Team.
  • Assess Global design and lead regional adoption, facilitate cross-functional alignment within the Region in partnership with Global Governance, and act as point of escalation when applicable.
  • Identify and implement data harmonization opportunities at the regional level in collaboration with the Global Data Governance Team.
  • Oversee Data Object Scope at the regional level, ensuring alignment with global standards and objectives.
  • Act as primary point of contact for the stakeholders in terms of any regional matter related to data.
  • Accountable for full scope of data migration, data process definition, stablishing of data governance including regional data owner identification.
  • Lead design and implementation of regional data orchestration processes based on local tax, legal and/or regulatory requirements.
  • Manage all Regional data migration workshops and discussions.
  • Oversee data cleansing activities in collaboration with Regional Business Functions and Data Team, ensuring adherence to project milestones delivery.
  • Accountable for seamless cutover plan execution, Data Freeze Strategy, Data Cleansing execution, Data Validation, Defect Management, Testing and Training.
  • Review that CDDs/KDEs are consistent with the global and regional governance model in partnership with Global Data Domain Migration Lead and functions.
  • In collaboration with the Data Governance Office (DGO) and Global Process & Governance team, lead efforts to establish governance processes for Master Data and emerging data areas, such as reference data.
  • Proactively address any risks associated with the data activities at Regional Level.
  • Provide regular reporting and status updates to stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, milestones, and any potential issues or challenges. Foster open communication channels to facilitate transparency and collaboration.


Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should possess a diverse skill set and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in fulfilling the requirements of the role:

  • Deep knowledge of regional specifics for the respective domain(s) in terms of SAP data management, data quality, solutions landscape, business processes, and stakeholders.
  • Holistic understanding of Mondelēz business processes and exhibit expertise in functional business processes, supported by a robust understanding of SAP data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions, including SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint, leveraging these tools to facilitate communication, collaboration, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • People Management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across business and technical functions to achieve project milestones.
  • Excellent proficiency in written and verbal communication in English and at least one of the most spoken languages within the region, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical data solutions and driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience in data management, with a focus on data process, governance, and quality, preferably in the context of SAP S4/HANA implementations in multinational FMCG environment
  • Experience with data cataloging, cleansing and migration tools and techniques, as well as metadata management principles.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to data migration.
  • Strong track record of driving change and innovation, with the ability to think outside the box and embrace an agile and growth mindset.
  • Result-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


What extra ingredients you will bring
Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of data management experience.
  • 7+ of CPG industry experience.
  • SAP implementation experience.


Preferred Experience:

  • Supply chain/Finance/SAP o9 systems experience preferred.
  • S4HANA implementation experience.


Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.


Travel requirements:

  • Minimal travel.
