About the job

About us:

At Zealthy, we are on a mission to make high-quality healthcare accessible to everyone, no matter where they are. We are building what will be the world’s largest and most trusted platform for virtual healthcare. Our goal is to transform the way healthcare is delivered by ensuring that anyone, anywhere, can receive the care they need.

Founded by a seasoned healthcare entrepreneur with a track record of success having built another company in the space to a $5 Bn valuation, Zealthy is positioned for sustainable growth as we rapidly scale to achieve our vision. Our commitment to quality and access is at the heart of everything we do.

We believe in working hard to serve our patients, and our team is dedicated to fulfilling this mission. While our hours may be Monday through Friday always in person and extend beyond the standard workday, the reward is in the impact we make—every team member is a vital part of building something revolutionary. As a full-time team member, you’ll not only help shape the future of healthcare but also share in the success through equity ownership, reflecting our belief that all contributors should be both literal and figurative owners of what we’re creating.

Join us in shaping the future of healthcare.

  • Establish clinical guidelines, protocols, and quality standards for telehealth consultations, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and more to ensure that clinical programs are neatly integrated with what other teams are building within the company.
  • Manage providers and run clinical quality programs to ensure that we provide high-quality care.
  • Audit charts of other providers to ensure high-quality care is being provided.
  • Utilize electronic health records (EHR) and telemedicine software platforms to document patient encounters, review medical histories, and manage treatment plans efficiently.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, pharmacists, and mental health professionals, to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
  • Adhere to established clinical guidelines, protocols, and standards of care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and telemedicine best practices.
  • Update clinical guidelines, protocols, and more.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • It is preferred that you finished medical residency 1-7 years ago.
  • Previous experience working in or a passion for telemedicine startups or healthcare technology.
  • Board certification or eligibility in a primary care, weight management, or another relevant subspecialty.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in multiple states, with the ability to obtain additional state licensure as needed.
  • Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and the ability to formulate comprehensive treatment plans based on remote patient evaluations.
  • Strong clinical leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and engage healthcare providers in delivering high-quality telehealth services.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and continuous quality improvement.
