Summary
As a Service Technician at Revel Leasing, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing our fleet of multi-branded EVs. This position requires a passion for sustainable transportation and the ability to creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment. You will adeptly handle minor and significant mechanical issues, conduct electrical and mechanical diagnostics, and sustain comprehensive knowledge of High Voltage (HV), Low Voltage (LV), and general electric vehicle systems. Your duties will encompass adhering to proper repair order documentation protocols and utilizing the appropriate software suite to record all vehicle interactions meticulously. Effective communication and collaboration with other service team members and various stakeholders within the Rideshare organization are crucial.
Basic Requirements:
- Completion of automotive school or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Clean driving record.
- Physical exertion may be required to perform occupational tasks (sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Experience working in a team-based environment and achieving common goals
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Ability to operate basic computer and mobile-based software.
- Devotion to continual learning of vehicle processes and developing technologies, especially in the EV field.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Pluses:
- Vehicle wrapping experience.
- NYC TLC experience.
- ASE Certification.
- Experience with Fleet Management Systems.
Mechanic TECH B Level
- 3+ years of mechanical experience.
- 2+ Experience with Electric Vehicles, especially Tesla.
- Advanced ability to perform all levels of repairs on both ICE and EV drivetrains.
- Ability to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including motor, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Experience with vehicle diagnostics, especially on an EV drivetrain.
- Proven ability to perform quality checks and test drives.
- Ability to operate a variety of top-of-the-line hand, power, and shop tools.
- Ability to keep up with vehicle repair workflows, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to train junior mechanics.
- Experience with Work Order Management systems. (Experience with Fleetio is a plus)
- Experience with parts management and associated systems.
- Ability to inspect and maintain shop equipment and request replacements as required.
- Ability to perform mobile/field work as needed.
Ability to perform quality checks and test drives.

Compensation and Benefits
Base compensation range for this role is $28-$32 per hour based on experience level. Posted salary ranges are reflective of NYC market compensation structures.
