Position Overview

This position essentially offers a Ph.D. in marketing, providing the opportunity to learn about the multiple facets of advertising, media, and marketing from some of the best and brightest minds in the business. The Brand & Media Coordinator will provide key coordination and logistical support for ANA Committee events. 

Committees (hosted both virtually and in-person) are events centered around specific marketing topics that bring together ANA members to hear the latest creative case studies, learn new skills, discuss industry-wide challenges, better understand the latest trends and technologies, and connect with fellow ANA members. Responsibilities

  • Support Committee events, Committee members, and associated Committee projects 
  • Manage the logistics of virtual and in-person ANA committee meetings (approximately 42 meetings annually – 30 in-person and 12 virtual). This includes preparing meeting materials, coordinating speaker rehearsals and materials, updating the event website with program info, management of conference room A/V and the virtual meeting platform, as well as providing support on event promotion, budgeting, attendee surveys and feedback, and event communications.
  • Maintain committee records, data, metrics and rosters, as well as email lists, the committee section of ANA website, and committee calendars.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of ANA Award programs specifically the REGGIE Awards and the Multicultural Excellence Awards. This includes initial setup of the award platform, routine maintenance and metric reporting, entry recruitment, judge recruitment, and notification/coordination of winners.
  • Note: Domestic travel will be required to support meetings (Approximately 1-2 trips per month). 

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA degree plus prior internship or work experience in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
  • Strong interest in marketing and advertising 
  • Ability to multitask, handle simultaneous projects, and manage tight deadlines is critical.
  • Hands-on, proactive with a customer service-oriented attitude
  • Must be comfortable using A/V conference room technology 
  • Ability to execute job responsibilities in a timely fashion, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Candidate must be highly motivated and an organized self-starter who takes initiative to get the job done 
  • Strong writing and people skills also are essential 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Familiarity with email marketing, SurveyMonkey, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams 
  • Basic database/CRM, web editing, and email formatting skills 

Salary and Total Rewards Package:

Starting pay range: $45,000 to $50,000, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
