As part of Datadog's GTM Enablement department, the Technical Solutions (TS) Enablement team helps share knowledge, provide ongoing education, create training materials, and maintain processes for our internal product experts (Sales Engineers, Technical Support Engineers, Technical Enablement Managers and Solutions Architects). Our team supports a top-tier product that truly solves customer problems. We share technical and product expertise with the technical solutions team through demos, e-learning, live workshops, documentation, and ongoing support.
Datadog continues to grow at a rapid rate and with this exciting growth, our need for role-based skills training and product enablement is also quickly increasing in scale and complexity. As the Manager of Technical Solutions Enablement Curriculum, you will lead a team of Curriculum Managers responsible for designing and developing high-quality training programs for our technical teams. In this role, you'll establish processes and best practices to ensure consistency and excellence in curriculum development, while driving alignment with business objectives. You'll oversee the creation of innovative, engaging learning experiences, manage stakeholder collaboration, and ensure that all training initiatives are effectively meeting the evolving needs of the business. This is a leadership role where you'll play a key part in scaling enablement efforts and driving team success.

What You'll Do:
- Lead the design and development of technical training programs, ensuring they align with business objectives and meet the needs of the team.
- Establish clear processes and best practices to ensure consistency and excellence in curriculum development including content development workflows, technical course and certification creation and leveling, UAT and inclusive design reviews.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and data, making necessary improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product, sales engineering, and support engineering to identify training needs and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of curriculum developers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts, fostering growth and collaboration.
Who You Are:
- Seasoned people manager with 5-7 years of experience in learning and development, technical/product enablement, or curriculum management, with a strong background in working with technical concepts. At least 2 years of experience managing a team.
- Demonstrated history of coaching and mentoring colleagues around key role elements, setting clear performance objectives and conducting performance feedback conversations.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development principles and instructional design methodologies for technical training programs.
- Outstanding verbal and written communicator: you make the complex simple
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality training programs while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of training programs, use feedback and performance data, and make informed improvements.
Bonus Points:
- Experience at a high growth Software-as-a-Service or technology company
- Experienced with cloud monitoring and observability space
- Experience using Jira for project management and tracking tasks in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Experience enabling support or sales engineers with a structured methodology
