About the Role

At MoneyLion, we believe in creating opportunities for our team to grow while making a meaningful impact. As Manager, Sales Engagement & Optimization, you will play a crucial role in scaling our outbound sales strategy, ensuring high-potential leads transform into engaged customers across our financial products.

We are looking for a forward-thinking leader with a proven track record in B2C fintech and BPO vendor management. You will need to work hard, persevere through challenges, and thoughtfully develop strategies that drive engagement, optimize performance, and maximize conversions.

This role demands someone who can admirably lead and inspire an outbound sales team while leveraging behavioral economics to design customer experiences that naturally guide decision-making. You will report to the Director, BPO Strategy & Operations and work on-site in NYC four days per week, ensuring hands-on leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop & Scale Sales Strategies – Design and execute an outbound sales program that scales revenue from thousands to millions while ensuring alignment with MoneyLion’s ambitious growth objectives.
  • Leverage Behavioral Economics – Apply nudge theory and consumer psychology to thoughtfully craft customer interactions that drive conversions.
  • Drive Operational Excellence – Establish efficient processes, staffing plans, and call flows that maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Own Program P&L – Take full ownership of profitability, ensuring an optimized balance between cost, revenue, and ROI.
  • Enhance Performance – Analyze conversion funnels, run A/B tests, and iterate on processes to drive continual improvement.
  • Lead BPO Vendor Relationships – Manage outsourced sales partners, ensuring alignment, cost efficiency, and high performance.
  • Champion a Test-and-Learn Culture – Encourage experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and innovation to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Build Strong Partnerships – Collaborate across internal teams—including executives, marketing, and customer operations—to drive seamless execution.
  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends – Continuously monitor the latest in lead generation, behavioral economics, and fintech sales strategies, ensuring MoneyLion stays at the forefront of the industry.

About You

  • Experienced in B2C Fintech – 3-5 years managing outbound sales team in consumer financial services.
  • BPO Vendor Management Expert – Proven ability to oversee outsourced sales teams, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Sales & Behavioral Economics Leader – Adept at structuring programs that thoughtfully convert leads using behavioral insights.
  • Forward Thinker & Strategist – Able to balance high-level vision with tactical execution, always staying ahead of the curve.
  • Executive Communicator – Skilled in presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • P&L Owner – Strong financial acumen, experienced in optimizing margins, managing costs, and driving profitability.
  • Data-Driven & Analytical – Proficient in analyzing metrics, conducting A/B testing, and leveraging insights to refine processes.
  • Resilient & Results-Driven – Willing to work hard, take initiative, and persevere through challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.

The annual base salary for the Manager, Sales Engagement & Optimization is expected to be between $80,000 to $100,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes, 401(k) match, performance-based incentives, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
