The Role

Our Go-to-Market (GTM) Enablement team is a unique strategy and curriculum team that plays an integral part in connecting our go-to-market approach and curriculum to customer value. We're interdisciplinary thinkers leveraging diverse business backgrounds in engineering, education, management consulting, business operations (and more!) to define, manage and measure Datadog's global go to market motion. We empower all of Datadog's customer-facing teams with the right information, skills, and tools at the right time in order to maximize their ability to land, expand and drive Datadog's next phase of growth.
Our Sales and Customer Success teams rapidly evolve how they work to optimize productivity. The Program Management team plays a critical role by driving change enablement initiatives to enhance sales performance, improve processes, and ensure the sales team is equipped to adapt to new tools, technologies and methodologies.
We are seeking an experienced Sales Enablement leader for our Program Management team to maximize the productivity of our revenue teams through integrated systems, tools and processes at a global scale. You should be a proactive change agent with a deep understanding of sales enablement and change management principles.
At Datadog, our managers are player-coaches: You'll lead a global team of seasoned Senior Program Managers, while also owning complex programs and crafting end-to-end solutions to optimize seller workflows. You will partner with leaders across Go-To-Market, including sales, growth strategy, and others to develop and oversee a portfolio of global enablement programs that increase sales performance.
What You'll Do:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Senior Program Managers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement change management strategies that support the overall sales enablement goals and business objectives. Analyze various quantitative data points, gather qualitative feedback, and embed with our go-to-market teams to develop a clear perspective on how to improve our business
  • Training and Development: Ensure the team designs and delivers comprehensive and scalable change enablement programs to help the GTM team adapt to new tools, processes, and methodologies.
  • Impact and Assessment: Measure, monitor, and communicate impact of enablement efficacy against specific business critical metrics to assess the effectiveness of change management efforts and drive continuous improvement.
  • Best Practices: Identify and promote best practices in change management and sales enablement, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Who You Are:

  • At least 5 years in sales enablement, change management in enablement, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a people management capacity
  • Experience with Sales methodologies, processes, tools and technologies
  • Experience applying adult learning methodologies to design live, virtual and on-demand learning content and evaluate the success of a learning experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams. Team oriented and empathetic.
  • Excited about data and strong experience assessing business metrics to identify productivity gaps (and solutions!) and developing strong analyses of program management initiatives. Extra points for experience with Tableau.
  • Deep understanding of change management principles and methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and project management experience creating alignment with cross-functional teams and delivering quality product on short timeframes.
  • Proven track record of managing and implementing successful change initiatives.
  • High ownership: You won't be satisfied until every GTM function achieves their potential
  • Outstanding verbal and written communicator: You make the complex simple
  • Scrappy and entrepreneurial: You enjoy building and iterating, and don't mind getting messy
  • BA / BS required

Bonus Points:

  • Experience at a high growth Software-as-a-Service or technology company
  • Relevant certifications in change management or sales enablement
  • Knowledge of DevOps or cloud technologies
  • Experience enabling salespeople particularly with a structured methodology
  • Experience building scalable programs at our scale or greater
