Job Summary
The Sales Development Manager is responsible for managing a specific pod (comprised of Advertising Strategists and Account Specialist) within the Sales Development Team. Provides leadership and subject matter expertise in the Enterprise line of business. Partners with Sales Development partners, HQ Partner teams, Sellers, and Sales leaders to help define and execute client-specific strategies.

Core Responsibilities

  • Executes against the defined sales development process for various demand channels of the Enterprise sales teams (addressable, programmatic, media & entertainment, etc.).
  • Ensures responsibilities are carried out according to proper policies and procedures and in accordance with the overall functional strategy.
  • Facilitates sales materials and resources needs. Coordinates the distribution of sales materials and resources.
  • Constantly educates self on either retail or auto industry and keeps up on industry changes or trends.
  • Leads assigned advertising sales teams to understand and track schedules for major initiatives and advertising campaigns
  • Client-facing partner with Sales to represent solutions and recommendations to advertisers
  • Provides leadership to relevant Sales Development Teams consisting of ad strategists and Account Specialists.
  • Interfaces with Advertising Sales and other departments to coordinate campaign strategies
  • Creates work performance standards. Remains available to Advertising Sales Team and resolves operational questions and issues.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • 5-7 years' experience in a sales or sales development environment
  • Previous experience managing others is a must
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Design abilities (PPT, basic graphics, etc.).

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $88,464.38 - $132,696.58
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Targeted Commission: $5,500

Bachelor's Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
