The Role

TITLE: Manager, Client Project Management
LOCATION: New York City (hybrid) or Fully Remote in the United States
SALARY: $110,000 - $140,000 base salary + bonus (based on NYC, will be adjusted for geo)

At Canoe Intelligence, we are looking for a Manager, Client Project Management who will lead a team of skilled Client Project Managers, ensuring they deliver exceptional project outcomes while fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
In this role, you'll not only oversee product implementations and adoption for key client relationships, but also be responsible for the performance, development, and success of your team. Your leadership will be key in driving both client satisfaction and team effectiveness. You'll be guiding your team to execute standard, predictable, and high-quality project plans, while also providing strategic direction to help clients fully realize the value of Canoe's technology.
What You'll Do:
1) Drive Team Success

  • Lead and Develop Your Team: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of Client Project Managers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Team Accountability: Ensure your team's projects are on track in terms of scope, timelines, and deliverables. You'll be the escalation point for complex issues, helping to navigate challenges and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Foster a Collaborative Environment: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging knowledge sharing, best practices, and collaboration within the team.
  • Monitor and Enhance Team Performance: Regularly audit team interactions, project statuses, and client communications, providing constructive feedback and coaching to elevate team performance.
  • Engage in Strategic Client Interactions: Join strategic and enterprise-level client calls to provide additional support and reinforce Canoe's commitment to client success.


2) Drive Client Results

  • Client Implementation Leadership: Oversee and guide your team in leading clients through their Canoe implementations, including technology configuration, data connectivity, and integration processes.
  • Expertise in Technology: Develop deep expertise in Canoe's technology offering, ensuring both you and your team can effectively drive client value through successful implementations.
  • Project Management Excellence: Ensure that your team maintains high standards in project planning and execution, including regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders, and meticulous tracking of project progress.
  • Client Relationship Management: Support your team in maintaining ongoing dialogue with Canoe's Relationship Management team, ensuring a seamless client experience from onboarding through to long-term adoption.



What We're Looking For:

  • A collaborative spirit, with a desire to work in a team-oriented environment that values continuous improvement.
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS implementations, with a preference for complex, enterprise clients and/or fintech environments.
  • 3+ years of people management experience, including managing team members, handling escalations, and designing process structures that drive team success.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with a proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and explain complex technology solutions to both team members and clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • Expertise in project management, change management, and expectation management.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to solving problems and driving results.
  • Client-centric mindset, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional value to customers.
