Manager, Client Activation
Job Description:
Client Activation produces integrated marketing programs on behalf of our major advertising clients. Our team serves a pivotal role in providing our clients with “white glove” service, executing a wide-range of program elements–custom digital and print magazine content, events, editorial sponsorships, and more! You will partner closely with internal teams including, but not limited to, Sales, Account Management, The Foundry (DDM’s in-house creative agency), our premium Editorial brand teams, and Legal. You will be one of the main points of post-sale contact for our Finance category client agencies, advertisers, and media partners to ensure program elements are cohesively executed as sold.
Responsibilities:

Independently manage large scale programs with a range of 4-7 programs at any given time

Oversee programs with typically 3-10 custom elements that need to be executed with participating internal stakeholders (The Foundry, Editorial, Ad Operations, Sales, etc.)

Work with Sales and Account Management to seamlessly transition programs to Activation, participating in the internal kick-off meetings, helping to facilitate the client kick-off and setting up weekly status meetings both with the client and internally as needed.

Articulate production elements and instill confidence throughout the execution process especially during critical periods of uncertainty or compressed timeframes.

Develop and maintain project deliverables including program summary, budgets, timelines, and creative guidelines – and confirm all projects are completed according to schedule and as sold.

Drive project delivery through effective use of external/client, internal and vendor meetings, meeting notes and project status documents.

Ensure the participating DDM team clearly understands their respective scope in terms of deliverables, target milestone dates throughout the project - providing guidance and direction as needed.

Participate in end of campaign debrief process, sharing learnings and best practices across internal teams
Requirements:

Professional Experience: You have worked in a digital media or similar for 3-4 years, overseeing multiple elements to implement a program/project with a successful history of project completion.

Activation/Production/Event experience strongly considered

Platforms: You have proficiency in Google Workspace apps (Google Sheets, Docs, Slides), Slack. Experience with JIRA, Airtable a plus.

Knowledge and capability: You have a sound understanding of —and desire to expand your experience working with—video production, digital media, social, advertising, and marketing.

Attention to detail: detail and accuracy is a focus for you and evident in everything you do, from email communication to production materials such as timelines and scopes of work.

Communication: You have well established written and business communication skills. You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills that will engage clients, agency decision makers, team members and internal counterparts.
In-Office Expectations - Hybrid 3x a week (NYC)

This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.
