Legal Operations Specialist

What we're looking for:

A Legal Operations Specialist to support legal, compliance, and operational workflows. This role combines traditional paralegal responsibilities with legal operations expertise to drive process optimization, contract management, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you’ll work on:

• Legal Support

  • Edit, proofread, and prepare legal documents for signing in conjunction with our legal team

  • Organize and maintain our files and streamline our legal flows

  • Perform analyze on our existing contracts for various factors.

• Legal Operations & Process Improvement

  • Implement scalable processes for contract lifecycle management (CLM), document retention, and matter tracking

  • Manage vendor performance for the legal team

• Compliance & Risk Management

  • Support compliance audits and regulatory filings

  • Maintain records for state license applications, due diligence reviews, etc

  • Other compliance related experience a plus but not required

What you bring to Rain:

• Experience: 3+ years as a paralegal in corporate/commercial law, preferably in fintech, blockchain, or financial services

• Proficiency in legal tools and contract management software

• Strong organizational skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities

Desirable but not mandatory:

• Experience with legal tech tools as well as CRM such as Hubspot, Rocketlane, etc

• Background in state licensing requirements, corporate formation, financial onboarding are all a plus.
