Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements. Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Define data models for implementing specifications. Lead and implement software solutions in AWS, On Premise Data Center, and test automations for different types of tests. Review code artifacts from other engineers and identify functional defects, security, and performance issues. Ensure solutions developed are aligned to pre- defined architectural specifications and meet scalability, performance and reliability requirements. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Software/Application Developer, IT Consultant/Analyst, Associate (IT), Tech Lead, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Application Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; J2EE; Spring; Java; REST; Maven; AWS Cloud Services; Cassandra; Splunk; Cucumber; Junit; Automated Testing; Functional Testing; Performance Testing; Unit Testing; CQL; Data Modeling; OAuth specification.
Job Location: 450 W 33rd St, New York, NY 10001. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel.
Full-Time. Salary: $196,793 - $215,000 per year
