Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Hybrid - Flexible Options)

Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone responsible for design, implementation, and operational support of the technical infrastructure for strategic Broadridge applications and services. We are looking to bring on board someone willing to craft technical solutions and automated operational processes for the next generation Broadridge platforms for automation, availability, performance, scale and cost.
This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote and meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and upper management, ensuring clear communication and alignment between technical solutions and business strategy.
- Technical Roadmap Alignment:
Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical designs, ensuring alignment with both immediate and long-term business strategies.
- Infrastructure System Design and Architecture:
Design and architect infrastructure systems in alignment with business needs and compliance requirements, incorporating next-generation layered architecture, secure zones, next generation monitoring solution.
- Service Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Monitor and maintain SWIFT service infrastructure, promptly diagnosing and resolving any software or hardware issues to ensure continuous service availability.
Utilize logging and monitoring tools for effective service tracking and issue identification.
- Security and Compliance:
Ensure that all infrastructure services comply with organizational security policies and industry regulations, integrating security tools as needed.
- Infrastructure Maintenance and Optimization:
Regularly evaluate and optimize infrastructure components, including Windows Server OS, SQL Server, VMware virtualization, MQ/RDMQ and enterprise storage and backup systems like HPE Primera and Veeam.
Ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and features through effective vulnerability management and CVM remediation.
- On-call Support and Adaptability:
Provide regular on-call support to address critical infrastructure and application issues when they arise.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to rapidly changing business needs and technological advancements.
- Innovation and Learning:
Pursue ongoing learning and development to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying new knowledge to enhance infrastructure solutions and strategies.
Qualifications:

Solid work experience with commercial service infrastructure at both a software and infrastructure level;

Functional skills – Infrastructure System Design and Architecture, Deployment automation, Troubleshooting, Service Monitoring;

Passionate teammate who understands and respects personal & cultural differences;

Ability to work under pressure and be highly adaptable;

Strong written and communications skills for collaboration with various teams and upper management;

Solid analytical skills, especially in area of translating business requirements into technical design – with a continuous focus on aligning technical roadmap with the immediate and long-term Business strategy;

Able to adapt and embrace change and support business strategy and vision;
-
Knowledge of next-generation design patterns/architecture like micro-services, layered pattern, cloud.

Strong aptitude for learning new skills and new technologies;
-
Availability to support regular on-call rotation is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or in a related field.
- SWIFT Environment/Ecosystem work experience.
- 10+ years of experience within a programming and application system environment, with solid experience and a working knowledge in the following technologies:
- Windows Server OS & Clustering, Windows File Share, SQL Server;
- Enterprise Storage (HPE Primera) and Backup Systems (Veeam);
- Virtualization using VMware Hypervisor, vSphere
- Active Directory/AD Federated Services, DNS, Application Load Balancer
- IBM MQ/ RDMQ, SFTP, SSL Certificates;
- Deployment Automation & scripting: Jenkins, BladeLogic
- Scripting: PowerShell, Shell Scripting, Python and any other scripting
- Experience with CVM Remediation, Vulnerability Management Tools and Symantec EPP;
- Experience with Log Archiving Tools such as Splunk, checkmk or Zabbix
- Cloud: AWS, Azure
- Experience with Linux, NGINX, WebSphere is a plus
- Infrastructure automation is a plus
Salary range $120,000- $130,000. Bonus Eligible.
