Role Overview

We're seeking a Lead Product Designer to shape the future of product analytics and AI-powered insights. You'll join our Analytics team at a pivotal time as we transform how organizations understand and act on user behavior data. This role combines the craft of data visualization with the innovation of AI-assisted insights, directly impacting the productivity and success of both product teams and employees across 10,000+ companies using Pendo.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for analytics features that demonstrate clear business value, working with cross-functional teams to ship experiences that make complex data actionable
• Shape our AI-assisted analytics strategy, designing interfaces that combine powerful data analysis with intuitive user experiences
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define and execute our analytics roadmap, balancing quick wins with long-term platform vision
• Champion data-informed design decisions through user research, analytics, and business metrics
• Mentor other designers in data visualization and enterprise UX best practices
• Contribute to our design system, ensuring consistent, scalable solutions across our platform

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong experience designing enterprise software products, with expertise in data visualization and analytics interfaces
• Strong portfolio demonstrating how your design solutions drove measurable business outcomes, and drive simplicity in complex use cases
• Experience designing AI/ML interfaces and data-heavy workflows
• Proven track record of shipping complex features in collaboration with product and engineering teams
• Excellence in modern design tools (Figma) and experience with design systems
• Demonstrated ability to make data-informed design decisions and communicate rationale to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a design lead for enterprise B2B SaaS products
• Track record of mentoring designers and influencing design culture
• Deep interest in data visualization, analytics, and making complex data accessible
• Experience with design ops and scaling design practices across teams
• Background in accessibility and inclusive design
• Comfort with fast paced agile development and modern product development tools

Compensation 

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in:

Raleigh, NC - USD $126,400 - $154,200

New York City, NY - USD $132,200 - USD $162,000

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
