The IR Operations Team sits within the Investor Relations and Capital Development function and is responsible for supporting the firm’s capital management plan by facilitating new investor on-boarding and responding to the ongoing service requirements of the firm’s external and internal investors. We pride ourselves on providing speedy and diligent, high-quality service to our clients, and work closely with the broader IR and Capital Development team as well as teams across the firm (Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Communications, Compliance, and more). The IR Operations team is based in Stamford, although there is flexibility to work out of Point72’s New York office.

What you’ll do

As a member of the IR Operations team, you’ll join a lean and high-energy group of professionals dedicated to providing best-in-class service to our external and internal investors. Specifically, you will:

  • Process high volume routine investor transactions including subscriptions, transfers, and redemptions
  • Work hand in hand with the firm’s administrator across all areas of the operations process
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all matters related to Point72 fund documents while working closely with teams including Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Tax
  • Support the Head of IR Operations on monthly deliverables and ongoing projects as well as strategic priorities such as technology systems enhancement and reporting automation
  • Support the Capital Development team globally and assist with responding to investor queries
  • Support management of the Employee Investment Program by developing, maintaining, and servicing employee investors in the funds
  • Manage the IR Operations components of CRM
  • Contribute to the Operational Due Diligence process, which is managed by IR Operations

What’s required

  • 2+ years of experience working in investor relations operations and/or investor services at a top-tier fund administrator or hedge fund.
  • Direct experience with subscription and redemption document review 
  • General knowledge of: Blue Sky, New Issues Status - IPO, Form PF, AML/KYC, ERISA, FATCA/CRS
  • A process-oriented mindset and the ability to quickly adapt to change
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Previous experience with Salesforce
  • Strong communication skills and good judgment on knowing when and how to escalate issues
  • A team player who is more focused on helping the team achieve its goals than your own individual goals
  • The ability and willingness to work both independently and collaboratively with others
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary range for this role is $125,000-$130,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
