Role Title: Investment Analyst (Equities)

Overview of the team/department:
The Equity Analyst role provides an opportunity to work in a highly successful team at BlueCrest. We are looking for a strong single-name fundamental analyst who is willing to work as a generalist covering multiple equity sectors.
Role requirements:
This analyst would (1) provide unit economics-based understanding of micro trends to support macro trades (in both equity and macro expressions); (2) research and cover single names across industries to generate micro single-stock ideas for the equity portfolio.
- Daily tasks would be doing primary research, reading public filings, updating financial models, and talking with company and industry contacts.
About you:
The ideal candidate would:
- Have 5+ years of experience in public equity, whether at a bank, hedge fund, or long-only.
- Have an athlete mindset, i.e. willing to be intellectually flexible and move quickly, initiate coverage on new names quickly.
- Open to various sector experts, TMT may be preferred.
- Exceptional academic record.
