About This Role:

Join our Site Reliability Engineering Team as Simplebet's new InfoSec Engineer!  The SRE team provides enablement across the board: we develop, implement, and maintain systems regarding the builds, artifact store, CI/CD pipelines, Docker and K8s layers, Terraform for our Cloud Native Infrastructure-as-Code, AWS, Networking, Security, Ingress layer, Monitoring, Messaging, Visibility, Presentation, Integrations, and more. We run lean and we create solutions that allow the company to increase its value and velocity. The SRE team is engaged in all levels of the business and streamlines productivity with each new undertaking. We have an eye toward the future and one in the present, helping the business shape decisions. The security emphasis on this position will have this role engaged in more security-conscience projects to help us protect our tech stack in an ever-evolving landscape.

We'll Trust You To:

• Collaborate with Software Engineers to create highly scalable, operable and maintainable products
• Implement new features and services using our suite of technologies or bring in new technologies to cover existing gaps
• Write code iteratively with observability, performance, and stability in mind
• Help own our CI/CD platform, observability tools, and Infrastructure
• Work with third-party security vendors to ensure Simplebet's compliance in regulatory requirements
• Be proactive, ask questions, and ensure understanding of requirements

• Salary starts at $160,000 but may vary depending on experience. You will be eligible for a new hire equity grant and annual compensation reviews.
