The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio
This position can be office-based or fully remote from one of the following countries: Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, or the UK.
The Head of Implementation Operations (Payroll) (d/f/m) will lead a strategic and expansive payroll function across Europe, focusing on both the implementation of new customers and payroll integrations. This role demands a leader of leaders, overseeing a team of currently four leaders with the potential for growth as Personio expands into new markets.
Role Responsibilities: What You’ll Do

Oversee the implementation and integration of payroll solutions for customers across Europe, ensuring seamless transitions and high customer satisfaction.

Lead and develop a team of leaders, fostering a culture of strategic thinking and collaboration.

Work closely with the Head of Support Operations (Payroll) to ensure smooth handovers and ongoing customer support.

Working to optimize processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Engage directly with critical customers, providing strategic insights and solutions during customer calls.

Drive continuous improvement and scalability of payroll operations, aligning with Personio's growth strategy.

Ensure minimal churn rate prior to implementation by actively engaging customers from signing through to going live, maintaining a strong sense of ownership over the entire process.
Role Requirements: What You Need to Succeed
Key Qualifications:

Proven experience in scaling operations and managing payroll systems, with a good understanding of Payroll regulations. German payroll knowledge is a plus.

Demonstrated ability as a leader of leaders, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Strategic mindset with the ability to think long-term and drive business goals.

Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships across the organization.

Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively in English (German as a plus).

Experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to handle critical customer interactions and provide high-level support.
