Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Trading service Associate in Market operations where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our trade operations. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to perform control reconciliations, investigate settlements, and drive process re-engineering and automation initiatives. As a Trading Services Associate in Market Operations, you will be responsible for performing control reconciliations to verify trade positions, investigating settlements, and focusing on process re-engineering and automation.
Job responsibilities

  • Upload market data to different risk management systems
  • Perform reconciliations against market sources
  • Perform numerous control reconciliations to verify trading positions are accurate through front office to middle office reconciliations, middle office to back office reconciliations
  • Investigate and provide solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmations
  • Produce management statistics
  • Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements (new system implementations)


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
  • Process flow understanding, including ability to understand current flows and linkage between systems and think how the process can be improved/streamlined
  • Availability to work during standard business hours, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or a related filed preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
  • 1 year of experience working with trading systems or platforms such as Bloomberg.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and markets, including derivatives, fixed income, and foreign exchange.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks in trade data.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different departments and levels of the organization.
