The Global Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Solutions team is a specialized structuring team that focuses on solutions for financial institutions (banks, insurance and reinsurance companies, asset managers and pension funds).
As a Global Sales and Marketing - Financial Institutions Group Solutions - Associate within the Global Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Solutions team, you will be a key player in structuring solutions for a variety of financial institutions. You will focus on trade structuring for bespoke insurance solutions, engage in pre-trade analysis and research, and present your findings to both internal and external stakeholders. Job responsibilities

  • You will act as a structurer in our team in New York focused on supporting the growth of our North America business.
  • You will focus on trade structuring for a variety of bespoke insurance solutions, including Stable Value wraps, Bank-Owned Life Insurance (BOLI) wraps and other products related to the broad array of financial institution clients.
  • You will be working on various type of long and short-term tasks and projects, including building client presentations, pre-trade analysis and research, reviewing and analyzing contracts, trade negotiation and deal execution.
  • As this is a client facing role, you will be presenting your analysis and ideas to senior internal stakeholders (traders, other structurers, salespeople) as well as external clients.
  • You may have to travel to attend client meetings and conferences. The client target list is predominantly US-based.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math or related field.
  • Confident quantitative skills, with programming skills highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact and transact with both clients and internal stakeholders
  • In depth understanding of derivatives and global markets
  • Expert knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Bloomberg
  • Open-minded, curious, creative mindset and dedicated work ethic. Superior time management and multitasking skills to juggle live transactions and daily tasks
