We are looking for a Fashion Editor to work on the exciting relaunch of a beloved fashion media brand. You will be responsible for planning, editing and writing fashion content that delights and engages audiences. As well as excellent writing and editing skills, you will have a killer eye for what makes a good story, and a pulse on what’s happening in culture. 

You will bring with you deep knowledge of the fashion industry, trends and media, having worked for digital publications in a similar role. You will also have a strong network of freelance and PR contacts you can tap to help bring your content ideas to life.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Concept, pitch, assign and write website content as needed 
  • Help refine and enforce the brand tone of voice across platforms 
  • Act as a face of the brand at events and client meetings as needed 
  • Alongside the Editor-in-Chief, work to build the brand as an authority in the fashion space 
  • Shape and grow the fashion vertical as a go-to source of news and inspiration for audiences 
  • Manage freelancers and photoshoot logistics as needed 

Skills & Experience: 

  • Proven experience working as part of an editorial team, writing and editing fashion content
  • Experience working with Photoshop and content management systems 
  • 5+ years writing for a digital publication or brand 
  • Immersed in the fashion, beauty, and luxury space—access and relationships with a range of connections from brands to public relations firms to industry talent
  • Finger on the pulse of culture and what’s trending across social platforms

  • Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location
  • Base Salary $65,000 - $75,000
