What You'll Do
Lead the development of identities for new series, for a new Complex vertical, Complex Bets, including, but not limited to YouTube shows, social content and text articles for web
Shepherd work from concept to final delivery, at times within tight deadlines
Guide the creation of brand guidelines, templates, and marketing materials for Complex Bets
Organize and present creative work for internal and external review, taking extra care to ensure creative alignment of all parties
Lead the creation of editorial artwork for use on the web and across social platforms
Provide art direction and design for projects across a variety of platforms and media
Organize and present creative work for internal and external review, taking extra care to ensure creative alignment of all parties
Incorporate best design practices into all creative work
Contribute to an inclusive and supportive team culture
Who You Are
Minimum 3 years experience working in graphic design, animation and motion graphics at a post house, design firm, agency, or studio
College degree in graphic design or similar practical experience
A portfolio of design work representing skill, style, and personal interest
Possess the hunger to grow and learn under the guidance of art/creative directors
A refined, stylish approach to motion graphics and design principles compatible with the Complex aesthetic
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
Must be imaginative, resourceful, and able to handle multiple projects efficiently and to a high standard
Ability to work methodically to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop is required, and the ability to seamlessly integrate into a post-production workflow is a must
Experience with and knowledge of AI tools like Krea, Invoke, Claude, Weavy etc.
Experience with Cinema 4D is a plus
