Role Overview
We're looking for a product-focused, NYC-based founding software engineer. You'll work on our core customer-facing platform and MVP alongside the founders and our founding product designer. As our first engineering hire, you'll be instrumental in shaping architecture, selecting technologies, and setting best practices.

Qualifications
We welcome all backgrounds and experiences, but here's the gist:

2+ years of experience as a software engineer (bonus points if you've worked on something customer-facing)

Experience with 0 to 1 development: you should have built new products or systems from the ground up

Deep appreciation for and commitment to delivering outstanding user experiences

Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to work cross-functionally

Comfortable with the pace and ambiguity of a fast-growing startup environment -You like thinking about complex problems and enjoy exploring the ambiguity inherent to defining a new product category

You’re a self-starter, who can proactively identify opportunities for impact even when they’re not assigned to you

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field
Compensation: $120K - $190K · 0.5% - 2.0% equity, experience-dependent
