Airtable is seeking a Product Operations Field Innovation Expert to join our pre-sales organization. This role focuses on building trust within business leaders at our largest customers. The Field Innovation Officer will guide these customers to accelerate their most critical business processes with Airtable.
Responsibilities:
Work hand in hand with Airtable’s Sales and Solution Consulting teams to drive Product Operations opportunities to close. Provide thought leadership, competitive positioning and expertise in product management lifecycle.
- Partner with customer executives to understand their business challenges related to Product Operations and translate them into solutions that showcase how they can use Airtable to help them achieve agility and adapt processes quickly.
- Interface closely with Product Marketing peers to create customer facing messaging and marketing materials.
- Articulate how Airtable's no-code platform enables innovation, new governance models, and enhanced employee engagement, leading to faster transformation and a competitive advantage.
- Drive the adoption of Airtable as a solution to consolidate SaaS sprawl and empower citizen developers within customer organizations.
- Showcase Airtable's vision of enabling anyone to build apps regardless of technical expertise, highlighting the benefits of AI capabilities like Cobuilder in opening up development to a wider range of users.
- Guide customers on how to operationalize their data from various sources, including Snowflake, Databricks, and other systems of record, making high-value data accessible, actionable, and AI enabled for their business teams.
- Leverage the power that Airtable has to make AI accessible for our customers in powerful ways that transform business processes
- Demonstrate how Airtable can power processes across all business functions, from product and marketing operations to customer intelligence and retail store operations.
- Lead workshops and educational sessions showcasing Airtable's intuitive interfaces and automation capabilities, as well as the power of AI in building apps and workflows.
- Develop and present compelling narratives and solutions to audiences ranging from C-level executives to technical teams, highlighting Airtable's value in driving digital business transformation.
- Collaborate with internal Airtable teams and contribute to the creation of thought leadership materials such as best practices, white papers, and workshops.
Industry Expertise:
- Possess a deep understanding of the challenges enterprises face today, including the need for constant innovation, balancing global scale with local flexibility, and navigating the opportunities and concerns presented by AI.
- Understanding of product development lifecycle using development frameworks such as SCRUM and Agile.
- Articulate how Airtable's unique approach addresses these challenges by offering agility, scalability, automation, AI adoption in a safe model, and consolidation of SaaS sprawl.
- Demonstrate how traditional work management tools and custom internal apps are failing to deliver the agility businesses need, positioning Airtable as a superior solution.
- Showcase knowledge of industry trends and best practices in no-code application development, data management, and business process automation.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of proven success in driving change and influencing senior technology leaders within a pre-sales, customer-facing, or delivery-focused role.
- Demonstrated ability to use human-centered design techniques to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts and architectures in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
- A passion for innovation and emerging technologies, with a focus on the transformative potential of no-code platforms.
- Strong understanding of Airtable's platform capabilities and the ability to articulate its value proposition in different industry contexts.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Compensation awarded to successful candidates will vary based on their work location, relevant skills, and experience.

For work locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Los Angeles, and New York, the on-target earnings range for this role is:
$214,400—$303,600 USD
For all other work locations (including remote), the on-target earnings range for this role is:
$193,000—$273,000 USD
