Job Overview

Contextual AI is hiring Account Executives to be part of the founding GTM team. This team is responsible for selling into Global 2000 organizations deploying generative AI solutions in production. Founding AEs will be responsible for growing market share within Contextual AI’s target enterprise verticals, from identifying leads to closing deals. They will report into the Head of Sales and will play a critical role in building the sales playbook, process, and infrastructure to fuel Contextual AI’s long-term growth. If you are excited about changing the way enterprises work with generative AI, we’d love to hear from you.


What you’ll do:

  • Own deal cycles end to end from first conversation to close, across stakeholders ranging from C-Suite to AI/ML leadership
  • Drive growth within our target enterprise verticals, including generating net new business and driving growth with existing accounts 
  • Partner closely with customers to identify high value use cases, scope out appropriate solutions, and structure deployment plans and commercial agreements
  • Collaborate with the Head of Sales to develop the sales strategy, playbook, and process 
  • Work cross-functionally with product, solutions, marketing, and operations to ensure customer success

What we’re seeking:

  • 4+ years sales experience in the technology industry
  • 2+ years of experience in an early stage start-up environment
  • Experience running strategic deal cycles, including selling to both C-Suite executives and technical AI/ML leaders and driving 6+-figure deals to close
  • Proven track record of overachievement in previous revenue-generating roles
  • Curiosity and understanding of AI and the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts
  • Self-starter who is resourceful, disciplined, and collaborative 
  • Deep empathy for customers, the ability to build relationships with key decision-makers, and genuine interest in helping them solve problems with generative AI

Location: Mountain View, CA, in office 2 - 3 days a week | NYC (East coast), remote
