Solving big technology problems for banks and credit unions
The Role

About Narmi:

Narmi is how community financial institutions unlock the very latest capabilities in digital banking and account opening – so they can move faster, tap new growth opportunities, and be where banking is going. Since our founding, Narmi has moved billions of dollars and opened hundreds of thousands of accounts for banks and credit unions across the US. As a result, our customers have seen meaningful increases in deposits, revenues, and happy customers. In fact, one of the first financial institutions to leverage Narmi was recognized by Bankrate and NerdWallet for providing the #1 digital experience for a bank or credit union in the US.

About the Role and Team:

As a Product Quality Assurance Associate at Narmi, you will ensure that we continue to deliver world-class products while doubling revenue each year. You will enable your partners in Engineering, Customer Success, Implementations, Product Management, Sales and Marketing to guarantee operational excellence and product quality.

You will own product end-to-end testing, and ensure that our releases are free of bugs. You will coordinate with product management, engineering and customer success to manage release cycles and communications with customers. While you may not have been an engineer, you have a strong understanding or willingness to learn how SaaS products are built, tested, and released.

You will become an expert on new and existing product functionality, ensuring smooth rollouts of new features and continued product excellence. You will document the nuances of our product to enable internal and external stakeholders to succeed as Narmi continues to scale.

What you'll do:

  • Identify defects within the product development and release process through rigorous manual QA planning and testing execution
  • Build through test automation based on knowledge of objectives and design of a product or solution
  • Solve problems and partner with cross-functional partners to debug product features
  • Work collaboratively in a reciprocal environment
  • Maintain laser focus on the smallest details that are significant to our customers
  • Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved

What you'll bring:

  • Proven work experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role
  • Experience in quality inspection, auditing and testing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, both in team settings and independently, to achieve shared goals
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Analyst
  • (Nice to have) Experience using Qase for manual and automated QA test management

The expected annual base salary for this role is $100,000 - $110,000. Base salary is only part of your total compensation. In addition to base salary, you will receive an equity option grant, and are eligible for performance-based cash and equity bonuses. Compensation included in an offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation ranges for candidates located outside of New York City may differ. You will also receive a full benefits package.

We believe that high-performing teams include people from different backgrounds and experiences who can challenge each other's assumptions with fresh perspectives. To that end, we actively seek a diverse pool of applicants, including those from historically marginalized groups.
