The Role

In this role, you'll be a strategic problem solver who partners closely with leadership and employees to ensure that Datadog remains a great place to work. The Employee Engagement Program Manager role supports Datadog's engagement and charitable giving programs, with a focus on fostering strong connections among our employees and building impactful partnerships within our community globally. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating employee engagement efforts such as giving campaigns, volunteer programs, employee surveys, and other culture-building initiatives.
The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running by driving existing programs, working autonomously, and bringing creative new ideas and improvements. They must be highly organized and adept at driving cross-functional projects through completion to achieve business goals. This role will report into the Senior Manager, Internal Communications. What You'll Do:

  • Work with leadership to plan and execute Datadog's major companywide engagement programs, including charitable giving, employee recognition, and engagement survey programs
  • Oversee scheduling, logistics, and communications to deliver polished and professional experiences
  • Drive awareness with internal marketing campaigns, and branded external assets for social channels
  • Manage "Datadog Cares," our portfolio of philanthropic initiatives including volunteering, sponsorships and donation matching
  • Oversee Datadog's employee feedback processes, from survey design, through analysis and action planning
  • Act as an internal consultant for rolling out new actions based on employee feedback and sentiment
  • Track metrics and build reports for senior leaders, including the board of directors
  • Manage Datadog's annual scholarship process, from applicant review to final payout
  • Maintain recognition frameworks for leaders and incentive programs for employees
  • Coordinate new programming as the team's scope continues to evolve


Who You Are:

  • Experienced in program coordination/management, with 2+ years in corporate giving, nonprofit or NGO administration, community relations, event planning, or similar
  • Familiar with survey techniques and analysis. Experience with CultureAmp, Peakon or similar a plus
  • Organized, with strong project management skills and sharp attention to detail
  • Experienced planning events of 50+ people (across geographies is a plus)
  • Excellent at writing, with the ability to create and edit content for various formats
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with individuals across level, department, and geography
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent goals and deadlines
  • Familiar with the diversity, equity and inclusion space, especially where it intersects with current local and global movements

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. $105,000 - $135,000 USD
