Mediavine is seeking a Director of Product Management with experience in digital advertising technology. The ideal candidate will be able to lead our product strategy on our use of First Party Data, and our SaaS products, as well as innovating on unique ad formats. They will work with their team to clearly define and prioritize requirements in anticipation of market needs. They will need to communicate effectively with both engineers and stakeholders, taking a user-centric approach to monetization while still innovating and adapting to changes in the industry.

Position Title & Overview:
As Director of PM on our Ad Tech Team, you will significantly lead our ad tech product strategy and prioritization, launch new ad tech products and features, enable adoption and maintain the efficacy of our solutions by adapting them to changes in the marketplace. The person in this role will manage a small team of 1-3 Product Managers.
Products you will contribute to include:
- Ad innovation - Developing and maintaining unique ad formats such as Universal Player, Inview and Skylight
- First party data strategy and audience tool development
- CMP management
- Universal Bid - Our S2S SaaS offering
This is a very collaborative role that requires excellent communication skills. In addition to managing Product Managers, you’ll work with teams such as Engineering, UX, Sales, Ad Operations, Support and leadership on a daily basis.
You will also be expected to keep up with industry developments, attend various industry committee meetings and events as necessary, and incorporate learnings into the product strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the product vision and roadmap with the ability to prioritize and execute against that roadmap to deliver business impact
- Work with stakeholders to develop, track, and meet goals for product KPIs
- Write, and support the writing of clear requirement documents and user stories
- Oversee Product team work with engineers to estimate feature delivery timelines, define milestones, and allocate resources accordingly
- Monitor changes to the digital advertising landscape and adjust roadmap accordingly
- Remain current on technological trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
- Organize and monitor customer feedback to identify potential opportunities for improvement and distill user feedback into tangible steps for development
- Develop and implement successful go-to-market strategies
- Determine research strategy to ensure product decisions are data-driven and meet user needs
Requirements
Location:
- Applicants must be based in the United States.
You Have:
- 7+ years experience in Product Management
- 2+ years experience managing and growing a Product Management team
- Deep familiarity with Ad Technology protocols such as OpenRTB/Headerbidding
- Experience using SSPs and DSPs such as Magnite, Pubmatic, The Trade Desk and/or DV360
- Experience with audience packaging/PMP creation
- Understanding of digital privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA
- Experience leading a product to market (mobile and/or web)
- Ability to cross collaborate with other teams
- Ability to communicate effectively in a remote environment
Nice to haves:
- Experience working as an Agency Media Buyer or Planner
- Experience working at a DMP or data modeling for audience creation
- Participation working in industry committees (e.g. Prebid, IAB, W3C, PRAM)
- B2B Software Platform design experience
