Puck seeks a Creative Strategy Director who will work as an integrated marketer across Puck’s growth, sales, and editorial teams to drive commercial partnership opportunities. The Creative Strategy Director is a senior position, working closely with the VP of Creative Strategy and Client Services, Account Managers, and Sellers to develop and execute strategies that drive growth across our Washington/politics and B2B (Finance, Technology, Professional Services) categories. This candidate will have a deep understanding of Puck’s DNA and the ability to translate that into commercial opportunities for Puck partners. The ideal candidate is someone who is excited to brainstorm ideas big and small, thinks strategically, is a compelling public speaker, and strives for excellence.
This role is located in Puck's New York headquarters. Remote candidates will not be considered.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with VP to design and evolve Puck's politics and B2B-specific go-to market materials and research decks.
- Work with sellers to respond to proactive outreach and RFPs to illustrate why Puck’s offerings deliver a competitive advantage in Washington and among B2B brands.
- Develop new, specific marketing concepts for clients, as well as broad product offerings across the Puck spectrum.
- Ideate and create event products in partnership with the experiential marketing team.
- Manage specific client projects from ideation through to execution
- This role is responsible for pre-sale and post-sale execution.
- Monitor industry and media trends to help identify new partnership offerings.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of professional experience, preferably in integrated marketing and/or brand marketing, publishing, digital media, and events
- Demonstrated knowledge in B2B (Finance, Technology, and Professional Services) industries and/or Politics and Corporate Affairs, either on the publisher or agency side of the business
- Excellent creative writing and presentation skills, including creation of decks and sales sheets
- Independently develop creative ideas and articulate opportunities for advertisers
- Strong organizational and executional skills; bias towards action
- White glove service mentality in working with clients
- Experience with Google Slides and Keynote preferred
Salary, Perks & Benefits:
- The salary range for this role is $150,000 – $160,000 OTE, but the final offer amount is dependent on incumbent’s relevant experience, skill-level and location
