About the Job:
As our Director of Capital Development, you will be in charge of building new relationships and cultivating existing ones within the institutional and family office investor community, educating investors about our platform’s mission and values and continuing to build on Redesign’s brand in the investor community. You will be directly responsible for developing market expansion strategies as we continue to diversify our fund offerings across the US.
In this highly visible role critical to Redesign’s platform, you will serve as a key source of new investor relationships and industry knowledge to support the launch and growth of Redesign’s operating companies. You will report to and work with the Head of Capital Development and collaborate with Redesign leadership and stakeholders.
What you will do
- Cultivate strong investor relationships and close on prospects for Redesign funds and investment opportunities
- Develop a thorough understanding of the existing investor base across Redesign and identify well-targeted leads for new investors
- Develop and execute on a fundraising marketing plan
- Educate and advise both internal and external stakeholders on Redesign investment offerings and investor landscape
- Contribute to product development and strategy for raising assets by collecting investor and market data in order to provide insights on existing and prospective strategies
- Expand on and continue to build the quality reputation of Redesign in the marketplace and with current and future investors
- Coordinate business development, fundraising, and strategy initiatives for funds, including prioritizing and conducting outreach efforts, optimizing funnel outreach and conversion strategies.
What you will need
- You have 8-10 years of experience in developing investor relationships through roles in investor relations, investment banking, business development, partnerships, equity sales and/or equity capital markets roles
- You have an established network of investors of venture capital, with a preference for early stage companies
- Prior experience in high-level stakeholder engagement, including working with healthcare entities, financial institutions, and institutional allocators.
- A history of successful project management and team leadership, particularly in the context of US capital raising and market expansion.
- Experienced in orchestrating market entry and expansion strategies within the US, adept at team building, navigating regulatory compliance, and establishing local operations.
