We're known for uniting the industry’s best hands-on strategy, product and technical talent to generate tangible impact at scale. Client partners include IKEA, Apple, PGA TOUR, Gatorade, Google, Mercedes, Givenchy, the MTA and more. As Fast Company noted, our engineering and design teams are routinely entrusted with creating digital products for companies which rarely approach outside firms. Forrester Research calls our approach “a model to follow.”

We are seeking a Data Engineer contractor to join our Technology team. This individual will be responsible for architecting and implementing complex data solutions, managing the flow of data across various accounts, and modifying profile experiences to streamline healthcare professional interactions. As an individual contributor, you’ll work closely with a cross-functional team to improve user experience while ensuring data accessibility for analysis and visualization.

What You Will Do

  • Join a team dedicated to enhancing data infrastructure for consumer and healthcare professional (HCP) experiences, enabling tailored user paths and optimized account creation flows.
  • Build & improve data pipelines by identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate to streamline profile management by omitting consumer-specific content and grouping data specific to HCP needs.
  • Build and maintain scalable data solutions on AWS using Snowflake and CloudFormation to support data integration and storage.
  • Deploy tailored ETL processes to ensure high-quality, consistent data flow across our ecosystem, empowering insights and analytics with reliable data.
  • Develop Tableau dashboards and visualizations that provide healthcare professionals with actionable insights and enhance engagement.
  • Engage daily with cross-functional teams—including Project Managers, Designers, and Developers—to align on client requirements, sprint activities, and project goals.
  • Actively participate in client-facing workshops, sprint planning, and requirement reviews to ensure enhancements meet evolving client needs.

We Are Looking For

  • An experienced back-end developer skilled in Python, AWS (including Lambda and CloudFormation), and Snowflake who can execute scalable data solutions tailored for healthcare applications.
  • Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization, with the ability to create unit-tested solutions that ensure consistent and accurate data delivery.
  • A proactive communicator comfortable with daily client interactions to discuss project progress and deliverables.
  • Flexibility to work autonomously or collaboratively and manage a small team (0-3 individuals) as needed to drive data engineering solutions that elevate the HCP user experience.

The base pay for the Data Engineer Contractor role is between $100/hour and $112hour. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, knowledge, skills, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
