About Clear Street:

Clear Street is building financial infrastructure for today’s institutions. Founded in 2018, Clear Street is an independent, non-bank prime broker replacing the legacy infrastructure used across capital markets.

We started from scratch by building a completely cloud-native clearing and custody system designed for today’s complex, global market. Our platform is fully integrated with central clearing houses and exchanges to support billions in trading volume per day. We’ve agonized about our data model abstractions, created horizontal scalability, and crafted thoughtful APIs. All so we can provide a best-in-class experience for our clients.

By combining highly-skilled product and engineering talent with seasoned finance professionals, we’re building the essentials to compete in today’s fast-paced markets.

The Team:

The mission of the Clear Street Electronic Execution Services (EES) team is to provide best execution for all asset classes in all regions. Our goal is to ensure that high-performance traders have access to liquidity venues across multiple asset classes and sophisticated order handling. The team is also focused on enabling Clear Street teams to make data driven decisions by building out client and best execution analytics. We apply Python, Snowflake and dbt in a medallion architecture to make sense of large swaths of data from trading systems. The EES team is also responsible for all aspects of compliance and regulatory reporting (CAT, surveillance and Best execution).

The team works with third party service provider systems, Broadridge, FlexTrade and Nasdaq and we orchestrate technical solutions to aggregate data from those platforms that allows our stakeholders to utilize it for reporting, dashboards, regulatory responses and business decisions.

You will build reliable data pipelines to ingest and transform large swaths of data from trading systems to drive client analytics and regulatory reporting. As a voice of experience in the team, you will help mentor teammates, evolve our technical standards and best practices, and further our culture of system designs.
