We are seeking an experienced Advanced Analytics & Data Science Platforms Manager for our Data & Analytics (D&A) Practice. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing platform-related activities, driving multi-cloud integration strategies, and ensuring the efficient administration and enablement of our analytics and data science platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly Azure and GCP, along with experience in managing advanced analytics platforms such as Databricks, Dataproc, Vertex AI, and Azure ML with MLOps experience. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists across Mondelez, business stakeholders, and IT operations.
How you will contribute:
Responsibilities:
Platform Setup and Configuration: Set up and configure AI/ML platforms according to organizational requirements, including resource provisioning, network settings, and access controls.
User and Access Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for the AI/ML platforms, ensuring appropriate access levels while maintaining data security and privacy.
Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation and management within the AI/ML platforms, including provisioning and scaling compute resources and optimizing resource utilization for cost and performance efficiency.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance of AI/ML platforms, identify bottlenecks, and optimize infrastructure for optimal performance.
Security and Compliance: Implement security measures such as encryption, access controls, and authentication mechanisms to protect data and prevent unauthorized access compliant with organizational and industry standards.
Integrations and Data Management: Manage integrations between AI/ML platforms and other tools and services used by the Mondelēz advanced analytics community.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support to users of AI/ML platforms, troubleshoot issues, assist with debugging code, and help users optimize their AI/ML models and workflows.
Upgrades and Patches: Stay up to date with platform updates, new features, and security patches. Plan and execute upgrades to ensure AI/ML platforms are running the latest stable versions.
Documentation and Training: Create and maintain documentation and training materials (conduct training and workshops) to help users effectively utilize AI/ML platforms.
More about this role

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in managing advanced analytics and data science platforms, particularly Databricks, Dataproc, Vertex AI, and Azure ML and MLOps.
  • Ability of using tools like PySpark/Spark, SAS, R, Python, Bayesian, H2O, Storm, Yarn, SQL, Azure DevOps, GitHub and Kafka.
  • Knowledge of AI, Gen AI concepts, strategies and
  • Ability of querying databases (SQL, Hive)
  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly Azure and GCP.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Certifications in relevant cloud platforms and technologies are highly desirable.


The anticipated base salary range for this position is $114,500 to 171,800 ; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results . Company offers a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education-related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and several others. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
