The Role

ADP is hiring a Sr. Director, Application Security - DevSecOps

This role will be the leader of our DevSecOps program, leading a team of engineers building capabilities to enable our development teams to identify issues as they build to help us ensure the safety of our data. This team will be building CI/CD pipeline security scanning services. This role will maintain the roadmap for application security and drive Shift-left strategy for product security. In this role you will partner closely with different leaders and executive sponsors to ensure a clear path forward working at an enterprise wide scale. You will have the opportunity to lead large initiatives and continue to develop our DevSecOps program with full support from our leadership team behind you.
We are working in a Hybrid work environment, working out of our Roseland, NJ or Alpharetta, GA office three days a week with the flexibility of working from home the other two days. We are not open to remote work for this role.
What You'll Do:

  • Lead a team of DevSecOps and Application Security engineers
  • Develop and maintain the roadmap for application security / DevSecOps
  • Bring thought leadership into the program and drive excellence
  • Manage the project timelines and delivery
  • Identify meaningful KPIs/KRI's to drive progress and improvement
  • Establish strong partnership with key stakeholders in technology and product organizations
  • Manage communication upwards, downwards and horizontally

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information / Cyber Security, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Information Systems or equivalent education and experience required
  • 5+ years leadership experience
  • Experience leading efforts in DevSecOps programs
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of application security vulnerabilities (SANS, OWASP)
  • Candidate should be very thorough in internet technologies and highly versed with web development best practices
  • Understanding CI/CD pipelines covering source control, integration, and deployment (ex: Bitbucket, Jenkins, Rally, JIRA, Artifactory, Nexus, SonarQube, git)
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills and cross functional knowledge across multiple development and security disciplines
  • Solid experience in integrating security scanning services with CI/CD pipeline
  • Ability to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
  • Knowledge in securing cloud deployment and containers (familiarity with Ansible, Chef, DeMisto, Docker, Helm, and/or Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of advanced iterative Agile
  • Familiarity with micro services architecture and design Patterns


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous software engineering/architecture experience (Java, C#,.Net, JavaScript) preferred
  • Some experience with development of RESTful and SOAP web services preferred
  • Any of the following are a plus but not necessary: CEH, CISSP, CSSLP, GCIA, GPEN, GWAPT, Fortify Certified Associate / Professional / Expert
