The Credit Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless execution and settlement of trades within our Execution Services business line. This position involves providing operational support, reconciling trade breaks and fees, and collaborating with Optiver’s Back Office, Trading, and Prime Brokerage teams. The Credit Operations Analyst will contribute to maintaining accurate trade records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing process improvements to drive greater efficiency. The role requires a strong understanding of financial products, the trade and settlement lifecycle for U.S. corporate bonds, U.S. ETFs, or credit derivatives, along with effective problem-solving and communication skills.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Provide best-in-class support for trade execution and settlement processes
  • Manage the full pre-and post-trade lifecycle in close collaboration with Trading, Back Office, Prime Brokerage, and Compliance teams
  • Produce and distribute trade confirmations and oversee the post-trade allocation process
  • Work closely with Brokerage team, Customers and Prime Brokers to reconcile fee discrepancies and ensure timely receipt of outstanding brokerage fees
  • Support regulatory reporting validations, including CAT and Rule 606
  • Collaborate with internal Tech and Development teams, as well as third-party providers, to enhance trade workflows and service offerings

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a trade support or operations role at a broker-dealer, bank, or trading firm
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, including bonds, ETFs, and credit derivatives
  • Deep understanding of trade lifecycle and settlement processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; coding skills are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Series 7 and/or 99 licenses preferred
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment authorization for this job opening

Below is the expected base salary for this position. This is a good-faith estimate of the base pay scale for this position and offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process. This position will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus (if determined by Optiver) and Optiver’s benefits package with the benefits listed above.

Base Salary Range

$155,000$225,000 USD
