A24 is currently seeking a Corporate Strategy & Development Associate. This individual will join the Corporate Strategy & Operations team, reporting to the Chief of Staff and rolling up to the Co-founder/COO, spearheading M&A pipeline management and supporting a portfolio of new business development initiatives. The ideal candidate is someone who is solution-oriented, well organized, process-savvy, intellectually curious, and a team player.

Initial Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams & external partners to develop and grow a portfolio of new business initiatives at A24 (details provided in interviews; example ventures include the launch of Half Magic Beauty, and the acquisition of Cherry Lane Theatre)
  • Manage the pipeline of inorganic growth opportunities:
    • Pipeline Management: track statuses, prepare key materials, build financial models, facilitate leadership meetings, coordinate next steps
    • Sourcing: conduct market scans, source outbound opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic growth priorities
    • Transaction Execution: manage diligence and deal processes, coordinate stakeholders, and support post-close transitions
    • Market Intelligence: maintain database of industry benchmarks and trends
  • Support the creation of high-level company materials (e.g., board decks, lender presentations, investor letters, business models for new initiatives, etc.)
  • Support the COO and corporate team on other ad hoc requests

Qualifications

  • Experience
    • 2-4 years of investment banking, corporate development, and/or private equity at top firms.
    • Strong transaction experience (M&A, capital raises) and ability to manage end-to-end processes.

Our target salary range for this role is between $100,000 to $120,000. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
