About You

Nutrafol is seeking a Copy Manager who is passionate about making hair and skin science engaging and easy to understand. This role will serve as an integral member of our Professional Marketing team, which focuses on reaching healthcare practitioners, estheticians, and hair stylists.

The ideal candidate knows how to harness the results-driven benefits of complex ingredients and formulas into compelling marketing content. Knowledgeable in citations, references, and sifting through data, this person will be able to move comfortably between long-form writing and crafting short, quippy copy. 

This role sits on the Creative team under our Marketing department and reports to the Copy Director. However, Day-to-day tasks include distilling B2B marketing strategies into content and copy for a B2B audience, proofing, cross-checking scientific credentials, and ensuring there is a balance of credibility, authenticity, and elevated storytelling throughout all Pro creative assets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop content and copy for B2B professionals (healthcare providers, estheticians, and hair stylists) and B2B2C consumers (patients and clients). 
  • Execute top-quality copy from concept to delivery, complying with brand standards.
  • Proof all materials from a scientific/medical perspective, including the addition of references and citations as needed.
  • Write and edit copy from the lens of a medical professional. 
  • Manage cross-functional relationships and uphold processes to ensure efficiency across all workflows.
  • Work on a highly collaborative team to deliver fast-turnaround projects. 
  • Continue to shape Nutrafol’s brand identity in the professional space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Writing, Communications, Advertising, Public Health, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years professional copywriting experience, ideally within the beauty, wellness, healthcare, or a public health-related field. 
  • Demonstrated experience writing for healthcare providers and patients/consumers.
  • Proven excellence in writing ability with strong grammar, editing, and formatting skills.
  • General knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical/cosmetics.
  • Well-versed in APA Style writing.
  • Ability to interpret data along with technical writing, analytical thinking, research, and medical communications skills.
  • Strong verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills, including a strong sense of accountability and a self-starter attitude.

Nutrafol takes into consideration a wide range of factors in final compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.

Salary Range:

$105,000$115,000 USD
