The Coordinator, Event Marketing will work with the Head of Food & Drink Events to assist with programming and talent planning and logistics for the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen and the Food & Wine Classic in Charleston. This position will also provide support across the event marketing team as needed.
This position is hybrid in the NY-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

The Event Marketing team works on the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, the Food & Wine Classic in Charleston, F&W Best New Chefs, as well as many other events across the food, drink, travel, and lifestyle categories. We are a highly effective, small and collaborative team.
About The Positions Contributions: Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results.
- 40% Plan talent and chef logistics including travel, lodging, weekend schedules
- 20% Work with the events team to help coordinate and execute projects related to event marketing
- 10% Manage invitation and check in process and other onsite event needs
- 10% Support event marketing team with contracts, budgets, research, records and databases
- 20% Coordinate logistical aspects of events, including travel, accommodations, transportation when needed
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Education: 1-2 years of experience in events. Culinary events are a plus.
Experience: Bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing or a related field
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
- Effective project management skills
- Organized and have good attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and travel when needed
- Work effectively as an individual contributor, and collaboratively as a team member
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must have the ability to multitask, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
