About Campus

Campus is on a mission to accelerate the talent of tomorrow and reimagine what college can (and should) be. The problem is clear: college costs have skyrocketed, but outcomes haven’t. Traditional college hasn’t kept up with the aspirations of today’s students—and they can’t afford to wait.

At Campus, we’ve built a two-year, accredited college where students learn from top professors at universities like Princeton, Stanford, and Howard, in live, online classes. Our students graduate with in-demand business and AI skills—ready to launch their careers or transfer to top four-year universities. Our unique approach is grounded in a pioneering technology platform and a heavily-researched student success model that offers students dedicated advisors and on-demand tutoring and coaching. We were also named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies of 2024.

We’re backed by an exceptional investor team that believes deeply in our vision for the future of education, including General Catalyst, Founders Fund, Bloomberg Beta, 8VC, Rethink Education, Sam Altman, Jason Citron, Shaquille O’Neal, and others.

The world has changed. Higher ed needs to catch up, and we’re leading the way - come join us!

About the role

We are seeking a thoughtful and proactive Community Management Intern to support our Marketing team in fostering vibrant student engagement across digital platforms. This role requires someone who is highly organized, people-oriented, and excited to help shape digital community experiences. You’ll help manage student ambassador programs, organize user-generated content, and ensure our internal communications and engagement efforts run smoothly. This position is ideal for a student who enjoys digital communities, organizing content, and connecting with peers in a professional setting.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Maintain a structured quarterly calendar for social ambassador task deadlines, events, and workshops; oversee communication and engagement within the Social Ambassador group
  • Contribute to content strategy, digital engagement brainstorming, and student referral initiatives, including event planning, distributing rewards, and tracking participation
  • Moderate and build engagement across student digital spaces, such as the Campus student life subreddit
  • Track and organize student ambassador participation records and screenshot submissions to ensure accurate content contribution reporting
  • Support ad hoc research and student engagement projects, and participate in weekly check-in meetings with the team

We’re excited about you because you…

  • Are a natural community builder who enjoys fostering peer connection and online engagement
  • Take initiative and ownership over your projects and look for ways to make processes smoother and more effective
  • Are highly organized and detail-oriented, especially when managing timelines and digital content
Communicate with empathy, clarity, and professionalism—especially when engaging with students online
  • Work well independently, consistently meet deadlines, and thrive in a collaborative remote environment

Required:

  • Strong digital communication skills across email, DMs, webinar/zoom calls, livestream, etc.
  • Experience working in Google Drive and adept working in shared documents and folders
  • Comfortable navigating online platforms and learning new digital tools quickly
  • Passion for community building, online engagement, and student advocacy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organization and follow-through
  • Able to take initiative and work independently while collaborating with a remote team
  • Available to work 10 hours per week
  • Currently a college student or recent graduate

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with platforms like Discord, Reddit, Twitch, etc.
  • Experience moderating online communities or managing ambassador programs
  • Comfortable leading or supporting interviews, surveys, or group discussions
  • Prior internship in social media, marketing, or communications
