Business Technology Solutions Consultant
Location: Princeton, New Jersey
Job Description
Job Role and Responsibility: Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Duties include: Manage and provide guidance to technical junior team members, including degreed Business Analysts, Associates, Associate Consultants, Solution Architects, and Project Leads, in managing medium- and large-scale IT projects. Coordinate with Project Leadership to define the IT project scope and strategies, requiring ability to understand business issue, select the appropriate IT tools and ZS software/functionalities, and develop IT strategies using project management tools. Provide leadership and management on multiple IT projects to ensure that high-quality project deliverables are completed with an appropriate level of analytical rigor and are delivered on time and within budget, requiring expertise in front-end user reporting. Lead the execution of key assignments, including directing all communications with clients and team members to understand objectives and technical requirements/features, create deliverables, and communicate findings, requiring ability to understand BI solution designs and implementations. Manage the design and execution of IT and quantitative and qualitative analyses to understand and address key project issues. Lead feasibility analysis, select the technologies that provide the optimal solution, and identify ZS's proprietary products available that will best fit the solution proposed. Leverage experience in IT project management activities, including project planning/estimation, scoping/requirements through implementation, and quality assurance within timelines and budgets. Manage delivery dates, resourcing, and scheduling while identifying and mitigating IT project and client-level risks. Lead business and strategy development meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are met. Lead and mentor junior team members and work collaboratively and cross-functionally within the organization.

Qualifications: Degree required
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation or technology solution delivery role.
Specific skills required: The following skills are required:
Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:

• Databases: AWS Redshift, Snowflake, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or AWS DynamoDB;
• ETL Tools: AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks;
• Programming/Scripting Languages: SQL, Python, VBA, R, Linux;
• Visualization/Data Warehouse/Other Tools: Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, Git, Alation, Hive, Hadoop, JIRA, Docker, or Collibra;
• Infrastructure: Terraform, Ansible, or Packer; and
• Cloud Platform: Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure.
