Payhawk’s $1bn valuation is a huge leap forward for the business, with their valuation increasing by 75% between Series B and Series B+.  Having seen 350% YoY growth over the last 12 months and expecting a further 250% YoY growth in the next 24 months, Payhawk is looking to continue their rapid global expansion.

Payhawk was co-founded by Hristo Borisov, CEO, Konstantin Dzhengozov, CFO and Boyko Karadzhov, CTO in 2018, and are now looking to hire a Business Development Representative that will continue to build on the great foundations already in place and help scale the US business.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE
 

Payhawk is looking to recruit a seasoned Business Development Representative with a proven track record to be part of our New York offices, where you will have a huge impact on the team's ability to generate new leads and business opportunities for the US market.

You will take ownership of building your pipeline and generating high quality opportunities. You will work closely with the Account Executives and the US Sales Director to identify target companies and personas that are likely to get the best ROI from the Payhawk product, and strategise on your approach to initiate the early conversations to position the Payhawk product. 

You will be attracting target personas by producing creative content and using professional networks including Linkedin to boost visibility. 

If you are proactive, highly motivated and a results-driven individual, working as a BDR comes with high levels of achievement and the ability to make a big impact in the success of the organization. 

 

BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience (at least 18+ months) in a Sales or Business Development role, preferably in a B2B environment. 
  • A Basic knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesforce and Salesloft is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends relevant to the company's products/services.
  • Ambitious and competitive mindset with high levels of resilience. Be driven to make an impact and see your actions make a contribution. 
  • Take ownership and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Familiarity with market research and lead generation techniques. Courageous and creative in finding new ways of generating opportunity. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
