As our Business Intelligence Developer, you will deliver reports, insights, and visualizations that help our customers make informed decisions. You will collaborate with product management and engineering to build dashboards, visualizations, and embedded analytics for our products; as well as develop reports and visualizations for internal clients using industry-standard BI tools, primarily Looker and BigQuery. 

You will…

  • Create, maintain and teach Looker projects, models, explores, dashboards, and Looks
  • Contribute to the architecture and design of the data models underlying our reports and visualizations
  • Design, implement, and deliver business intelligence tools to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify development needs to improve and streamline operations
  • Following and enforcing BI and engineering best practices and standards
  • Understanding different segments of business and identify areas of opportunity

You have…

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience 
  • 2+ years of experience with Looker and Data Wrangling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience working with large structured and unstructured databases
  • Must be proficient in SQL: Google Big Query, Nested Queries, CTEs, Multi-dimensional tables, Clustering, Partitions, Meta Data

Bonus points for:

  • Fluency in Python with ETL and/or dataflow technologies
  • Knowledge of Looker caching, aggregation, and liquid variables 
  • ADTech experience

Compensation Package

  • The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 Actual compensation may vary and will be based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

Hybrid Workspace

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

Our hybrid policy offers employees an office for when they want one. We have offices in New York and Reno, Nevada. Bombora also hosts annual Company-wide kickoffs in January, so employees get a chance to fly into our NY office to meet fellow Bommies.
