About The Position

We are seeking a talented Lifecycle Marketing specialist to help us drive user growth, engagement, retention and satisfaction for MyRecipes. This key hire will be part of our centralized Audience Growth team, with a dotted line to the VP of Digital Marketing on the MyRecipes brand team. Role Overview: As the Associate Director of Lifecycle Marketing, you will own and execute the end-to-end lifecycle contact strategy for MyRecipes users, collaborating on acquisition and focusing on user engagement, retention and reactivation. You will leverage data-driven insights to create personalized, multi-channel campaigns that foster long-term relationships with users and deliver measurable business impact. Partnering closely with a cross-functional team, you will play a critical role in growing MyRecipes, and driving user loyalty and advocacy.

Hybrid 3x a week- New York City

In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

About The Positions Contributions:

  • Strategy Development: Design and execute a comprehensive lifecycle marketing contact strategy to support MyRecipes’ user acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue goals.

  • Campaign Management: Develop, implement, and optimize messaging and touchpoints that guide users throughout their journey (onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, win-back).

  • Segmentation & Personalization: Use advanced segmentation and personalization techniques to deliver relevant content and drive engagement.

  • Data Analysis: Become an expert on MyRecipes users. Understand campaign performance, analyze user behavior, and uncover actionable insights to optimize lifecycle programs and LTV.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization including Digital Marketing, Paid Acquisition, Content, Product, Design, Newsletter to tell a cohesive story across every lifecycle marketing touchpoint. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on lifecycle marketing strategies for new and existing product features.

  • A/B Testing: Lead A/B and multivariate testing to continually refine messaging, creative, and user flows.

  • Retention Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve user retention and reduce churn, leveraging CRM tools and user feedback.

  • Innovation: Stay on top of lifecycle marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure MyRecipes stays ahead of the curve.

The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Experience:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or related fields, preferably within a digital product or consumer brand environment.

  • Proven Results: Demonstrated success in driving user growth, engagement, and retention through innovative lifecycle marketing strategies.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Iterable, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), as well as data analysis tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Looker, Google Analytics).

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.

  • User-Centric: Deep understanding of user behavior and experience in crafting personalized, user-focused campaigns.

  • Project Management: Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

  • Passion for Food: A genuine interest in food, cooking, and digital innovation is a plus!
