DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop forecasting tools that finance and field leadership teams use to predict account balance fluctuations, account openings/closures, and shifts in investor activity. Lead analytics initiatives to create intricate scorecards and reports, advanced drill-down insights, and analytical modules, driving transformative change initiatives to promote adoption of intelligent solutions across different lines of business including Wealth Management, Business Banking, and Consumer Banking. Design logical data models to optimize data quality and processing speed, strategically aligning with the organization's goal of establishing a scalable, centralized, and consolidated data mart. Harness Alteryx to build ETL workflows that wrangle complex datasets (encompassing cash flow, revenue, and customer satisfaction metrics), significantly boosting operational efficiency and integrating disparate data platforms. Build advanced SQL queries on relational databases within platforms like Databricks, Teradata SQL Assistant, SQL server or the Snowflake cloud environment to extract actionable insights for strategic business reviews, rapid-fire drills, and meticulous budgeting processes. Architect an in-house analytical portal to deploy multiple intelligent solutions that enhance the analytics experience, tailored for home and field stakeholder personas across four lines of business, facilitating a seamless end-user journey. Apply statistical techniques to conduct segmentation modeling on customer data, strategically targeting new clients, enhancing product offerings, and monitoring balances effectively. Establish and maintain a centralized repository of metadata housing precise definitions, usage guidelines, and contextual information for financial assets across the product landscape. Foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams to create ground-breaking intelligent solutions that address customer needs. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel for internal product meetings/presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Technology and Management, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Analytics Solutions Manager, Business Intelligence Manager, Data Analytics Manager, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires 5 years of experience documenting project milestones and execution steps by articulating stories, tasks, and epics in JIRA; and using Agile methodology for product lifecycle management. Requires 4 years of experience with the following skills: transforming financial reporting suites and leading reporting strategies for market directors, CFOs and business leaders; writing advanced SQL queries for data manipulation on databases within Databricks, Teradata SQL Assistant, SQL server, Oracle EPBCS, or Snowflake platforms; supporting report production across on-premises and AWS and Hadoop Cloud environments; and presenting and influencing senior leaders via effective story telling of data-driven insights. Requires 3 years of experience with the following skills: designing Alteryx workflows to reduce data processing times for comprehensive analysis and reporting; designing logical data models to efficiently retrieve SORs and improve database performance using Erwin Data Modeler or Visio; analyzing P&L, attrition, and cash flow data; and developing dashboards for retail banking and wealth management using Tableau, Qlik Sense, or ThoughtSpot. Requires 2 years of experience with the following skills: using Python to automate processes and perform statistical analysis; and web development experience building a financial report integration portal featuring custom navigation and user customization.
Job Location: 277 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10172. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel for internal product meetings/presentations.
Full-Time. Salary: $170,373 - $205,000 per year.
