Salary Range: $70,000.00- $80,000.00(On Target Earning)

The Opportunity

Kargo is seeking an Analyst with a strong data analytics background to join the Analytics team. The successful candidate will work closely with different business units across the organization and help provide analytics intelligence solutions and analysis for business stakeholders. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data and can take ownership of building insightful data deliverables including supporting analysis deep dives on operational challenges, A/B testing with functional groups, and building visualizations. This person will also be able to provide analysis to business stakeholders to assess business problems in a data-driven manner.

The Daily To-Do

  • You will work closely with various teams to answer any questions about our datasets for business stakeholders
  • You will collaborate with commercial teams to standardize external reporting and build self-service analytics solutions to enhance client reporting
  • You will know where to pull the right data from and build the right visualization solutions to satisfy all business reporting needs
  • You will lead conversations with different business and product stakeholders and own any analysis deliverables
  • You will collaborate with data engineers and product to ensure upstream data is being reported correctly and consistently for business users
  • You will perform ad-hoc analyses as needed
  • You will help educate and train our in-house users to build dashboards and use features to answer any key business questions and needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics or Computer Science
  • 1+ years of experience working in a data engineering, analytics, or technical data analytics role in a fast-paced, high growth company
  • 1+ years of experience working with business visualization tools, such as Looker, Tableau, Sigma (or equivalent)
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, orchestration, pipeline and visualization solutions
  • Strong experience with SQL using Snowflake, BigQuery (or equivalent)
  • 1+ years of Python experience (Pandas, Python Standard Library, SQL Drivers) or R Experience
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly when explaining technical or complex matters to less technical co-workers
  • Media company experience preferred
