Design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered FP&A tools and workflows (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis). Build internal apps and dashboards using Python, JavaScript/React, and SQL. Partner across finance, accounting, capital markets, and technology to transform processes, enable adoption via documentation and training, and support core financial analysis and reporting.

Link Logistics Real Estate (“Link”) is a leading operator of warehouses and business parks, specializing in last-mile logistics real estate. Established by Blackstone in 2019, the company connects consumption, technology, and the supply chain across its portfolio, which spans half a billion square feet. We leverage our scale, proprietary data and insights, and foundational focus on sustainability to drive success for our customers’ businesses and deliver value for our stakeholders. We put our people, customers, and communities first and find ways to make a conscious, positive impact where we live and work. Every day, we work to reinvent and lead our industry forward by thinking bigger and challenging the status quo.

The Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis will work directly with FP&A leadership to identify, design, and deploy AI-native solutions that transform how the company plans, forecasts, reports, and makes decisions. This role is designed to grow. Exceptional performance will shape both the scope of the position and the broader AI strategy for FP&A and the firm.

You will operate across the full FP&A organization (~30 people, seven sub-teams) and partner with stakeholders across Asset Management, Accounting, Capital Markets, and Technology. The scope is deliberately broad: we want someone who can move fluidly between building a working prototype, pressure-testing a financial model, and presenting a vision to senior leadership.

We are looking for people to solve real problems at scale. Link Logistics is one of the largest industrial REITs in the country. The datasets are massive, the decisions are consequential, and the opportunity to create leverage through AI is enormous.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build & Ship AI-Powered Tools

  • Design, prototype, and deploy AI-driven workflows that automate or augment core FP&A processes — budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, leasing analytics, portfolio reporting

  • Build internal applications, dashboards, and agents using LLMs, APIs, and modern development frameworks (Python, JavaScript/React, SQL)

  • Translate ambiguous business problems into structured, scalable technical solutions

Drive Process Transformation

  • Partner with process owners to redesign workflows around AI capabilities rather than retrofitting AI onto legacy processes

  • Develop and maintain documentation, playbooks, and training materials that enable the broader team to adopt new tools

Serve as the AI Knowledge Center

  • Stay current on the rapidly evolving AI/ML landscape — foundation models, agents, retrieval-augmented generation, code generation, structured reasoning — and translate developments into practical applications for the business

  • Evaluate and recommend third-party AI tools, platforms, and vendors

  • Champion AI adoption across FP&A and the broader organization through demos, workshops, and hands-on enablement

Contribute to Core FP&A

  • Support financial analysis, reporting, and ad hoc projects as needed to build deep context on the business and its data

  • Partner with teams across NOI, Valuations, Capital Management, Corporate G&A, and Asset Management Reporting to understand their pain points and priorities

  • Develop fluency in the company's financial systems, data architecture, and reporting ecosystem (Yardi, Anaplan, Power BI, Databricks/Semantic Layer)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in finance, consulting, technology, or a related analytical field

  • Demonstrated ability to build functional tools or applications using code (Python, SQL, and/or JavaScript) — we care about what you've built, not where you learned it

  • Deep, practical fluency with AI tools — you use LLMs, code assistants, and AI-powered workflows daily and can articulate both their capabilities and limitations

  • Strong financial acumen — you can read a P&L, understand a DCF, and speak the language of FP&A even if your background isn't purely finance

  • Exceptional communication skills — you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical specifications

  • High agency and ownership mentality — you thrive with ambiguity, move fast, and take initiative without waiting for detailed instructions

  • Intellectual curiosity and a bias toward building — you'd rather prototype a solution than write a deck about one

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in real estate, private equity, or asset management

  • Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)

  • Experience with data platforms and semantic layers (Databricks, Snowflake, dbt)

  • Experience building with LLM APIs, AI agents, or retrieval-augmented generation pipelines

  • Exposure to financial planning systems (Anaplan, Adaptive, Hyperion)
