Bustle Digital Group (BDG) is looking for an Analyst to support our growing digital media portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Analyst of Finance Operations, the Analyst will have the opportunity to shape the Finance Operations function for the company. This role will be responsible for assisting in the billing processes and providing analytical support to the Revenue Organization. The ideal candidate will be a passionate self-starter and problem solver, with a strategic and analytical mindset, who is excited to make an impact in a fast-growing digital media company.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with and act as a liaison between the campaign execution teams, sales, planning teams, accounting, and FP&A
  • Assist with the monthly campaign delivery/revenue process with a focus on, but not limited to the following:  Perform QA processes on delivery data for monthly billing, reconcile billing activity from the Order Management System to NetSuite, provide ad hoc reporting to the Account Management team and ensure billing and related reporting are processed in a timely and accurate manner in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
  • Manage billing across multiple revenue streams (digital, event, and print) while tracking against multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and parallel responsibilities. 
  • Reconcile and analyze campaign data across the various platforms used by our campaign execution teams.
  • Manage processes to resolve billing issues and address client requests.
  • Be well-versed in and act as a subject matter expert in our CRM, Order Management System, and ERP system; and oversee and maintain the flow of data across these systems to strengthen our data integrity.
  • Facilitate communications between sales and leadership regarding special invoicing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience in an analytical role.
  • Proficient in Excel and data analytics.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy, along with an ability to think strategically and creatively in financial and operational scenarios.
  • Strong systems knowledge and ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible and resourceful when working in a small team environment.
  • This is a temporary full-time role, maternity leave coverage (12-14 weeks)
