We are seeking an AML Analyst to join our WisdomTree Digital Assets Team. This position will report to the Deputy AML Officer. The position will work closely with other related groups in helping to build a sustainable and compliant financial crimes program.

Success in this role would be achieved by:

  • Review and make decisions on transaction monitoring alerts, including both money movement and blockchain analytics.
  • Assess and perform initial decisions on adverse media, sanctions, and PEP alerts.
  • Draft and prepare SAR filings, as well as other necessary filings, while maintaining appropriate case documentation.
  • Conduct enhanced due diligence for high-risk customers as needed.
  • Assist in drafting policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements for sanctions and AML-related areas.
  • Support ongoing testing of financial crimes compliance processes.
  • Contribute to the AML Risk Assessment, training, and facilitation of the annual external audit.
  • Assist with exams, model validation, and other mandated regulatory reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to help ensure a sustainably compliant program.

Experience and required skill set:

  • 2+ years of prior experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for learning about digital assets and blockchain technology.
  • Understanding of economic sanctions regimes (OFAC) and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in operating within a financial crimes compliance organization at a bank, broker/dealer, or other regulated entity.
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment impacting financial services, including digital assets.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working across various areas of financial crimes and related groups.
  • Minimum of a BA degree.
  • Knowledge of technology-related implementation, testing, or model validation is highly desired.
